Rooms and Rates
Our cottage style double guest bedroom is on the first floor, accessed by a private staircase. With views of the fells to the front of the house, this is a sunny, comfortable room for one or two people. £90 per room per night (£70 single occupancy). You will have exclusive use of the bathroom and a private landing.

There is also an additional single room available to book for members of the same family or group at a rate of £65 per night. We can make this up as a twin if requested and the rate is £80. This room shares the same bathroom as the double. If using our online booking service, this will appear on the second page of the booking process. Otherwise, please contact us direct to add the room to your booking.

Accessibility
Please note that West Winds was built in the 1850s and the layout of the building remains much as it was then. All bedrooms are on the first floor, the stairs are steep and there is a sharp turn and a small landing. If you have mobility difficulties please contact us so we can discuss whether West Winds meets your requirements.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Arrival & Departure times:
Our check-in times are between 4pm and 7pm - outside of this, by prior arrangement only, but please just let us know if unforeseen circumstances delay your arrival.
We would ask you to vacate your room by 10am on the day of departure.
Payment:
The full cost of your stay is payable on booking, either by BACS or by telephone. We will be in touch with you within 24 hours of your reservation. Most major cards are accepted. All payments will be confirmed by email.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your booking for whatever reason, please let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel seven days or more before arrival, we will return any payment made, less an administration charge of £7.50. For bookings cancelled after this time, 50 per cent of the total cost of your stay will be retained and the remainder refunded. This is due to the difficulty of filling rooms that become vacant at short notice. In the event of a no show or cancellations or booking reductions on the day of arrival no refund can be given.

Children:
Our accommodation is not really suitable for children under the age of 13.
Pets:
With the exception of assistance dogs, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate any animals.
Smoking:
We are a fully no-smoking, no-vaping B&B, both inside and in our garden.
